Elagabalus, 218-222. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 2.76 g, 12 h), Rome, 220. IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG Laureate and draped bust of Elagabalus to right, wearing 'horn' over forehead. Rev. INVICTVS SACERDOS AVG Elagabalus standing front, head to left, holding patera in his right hand and club in his left; to left, altar with recumbent bull behind; in field to left, star (erased). The star representing the god Elegabalus was deliberately erased from the reverse die.
